        Dogs at Sunfolk

      • We are a dog-friendly club and understand that four-legged family members are a huge part of your holidays. To ensure all our visitors, local wildlife, and pets stay safe and happy, we do operate a few essential restrictions on-site. Meet Barney, one of our regular canine visitors! While he loves the woodland air, he helps us keep the grounds pristine by following our simple site guidelines.

        Kept on a Lead

Dogs must be kept on a short, secure lead at all times while at Sunfolk. To ensure the safety of our local wildlife and guests, pets must never be allowed to roam free.

        Restricted Zones

While dogs are welcome to stretch their legs on a lead around the car parks and the designated caravan, motorhome, and campervan bay areas, they are strictly prohibited on the main grass lawn area. Dogs are also not permitted inside any buildings, including the covered pavilion, pavilion kitchen, pool decking, or central showering facilities.

        Clean Up Immediately

Please clear up after your dog immediately. We ask that you bag all waste securely and dispose of it in our main general mixed waste bins. Because dogs must stay off the main lawn, please use the routes off-site for proper exercise and longer walks.

      • Explore the Local Area

Because our on-site space for dogs is limited to the car parks and pitch bays, we have put together three fantastic walking routes starting right from the Sunfolk gates.

the green dog walk from sunfolk

        Bricket Wood Walk (2 Miles)

GREEN ROUTE: A wonderful, medium-length scenic route that loops through the nearby Bricket Wood common and local greenery. Perfect for a proper morning stretch.

Quarry & Heath Walk (3.5 Miles)

YELLOW ROUTE: Our longest recommended route. It takes you deeper into the open heath fields and trails - ideal for energetic dogs who need to burn off some steam.

the red dog walk from sunfolk

        Short Pavement Walk (0.8 Miles)

RED ROUTE: A quick, gentle, and fully paved circular stroll through the local lanes. Excellent for a clean, hassle-free walk if the weather turns wet or muddy.
